Supporting Guide Dogs with Our Pedestrian Crossing Units

Fenori is proud to support the Guide Dogs Association by donating two Pedestrian Crossing 2 Walk Units used to help guide dogs develop vital road safety skills. These units are now part of the training programme at the Guide Dogs training centre, helping future guide dogs learn to locate signals and safely navigate crossings — an essential skill for mobility and independence.

We’re delighted to know our products are playing a role in preparing future guide dogs for the important work they will do every day. A big thank you to Guide Dogs for the incredible work they do supporting people with sight loss.

The team shared with us how they are using the equipment:

“We have two sets, one for inside and one for outside, both moveable to suit training needs. The dogs master the skills of locating the post and box inside our training centre before applying their learning to the streets of Bristol.” In the photos below, you can see Tom, one of their Guide Dog Trainers, working with Buddy, who is just starting his journey in training.
